Neil Young in Teddington Park?

You are invited to join a TPRA hosted event with guest Maya Bilbao.

Maya is a documentary researcher, writer, and former resident of the neighbourhood.

Maya will tell the story of how Teddington Park first began, and share insight into some of the homes and landmarks that have defined its existence since the beginning.  While small in landmass, Teddington Park has a broad history of fascinating characters, who not only lived in the community, but had an effect on society at large. These include a Father of Confederation, an Acting Prime Minister, a former President of the IODE, a doctor who pioneered new surgical methods, the artist who developed the Art Nouveau style, and famous singer-songwriter, Neil Young.  Maya will discuss these interesting people and much more!

This event will take place on Tuesday October 19 from 8:30 to 9:10 pm.  If you would like to attend, go to the zoom link below.

If you have friends or neighbours living in the area who may be interested in participating, please share the zoom invitation below.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Call for Neighbourhood Photos

We encourage our community to submit any photographs that they may have of our neighbourhood. They may be recent, they may be old, or even historical; we’d like to showcase them on our website to give a window to special moments that have happened in this lovely corner of Toronto.

Please send photos to tpratoronto@gmail.com. By submitting these photos, you are giving us permission to use them on our website.
