About Us

The Teddington Park Residents Association (TPRA) is a registered not for profit organization consisting of members residing in the Teddington Park neighbourhood.  Our neighbourhood includes all residents from the south side of Snowdon to the north side of Glen Echo Road, east of Yonge Street.

The TPRA supports measured development in our community as permitted by Toronto’s Official Plan and zoning bylaws. Where proposed developments exceed that threshold, the TPRA advocates for direct communication between developers and affected neighbours to reach a compromise solution. The TPRA encourages protection of the aspects of our community that we value so highly and that attract new residents - the mature trees, spacious set-backs from the street and adjacent houses, soft landscaping with green space, and lower density residential development that sustains the natural environment.

The TPRA is operated by an elected Board of up to 12 volunteers who are committed to the following mandate:

  • To stay up to date on issues, both local and municipal, that affect our neighbourhood.

  • To communicate these issues to our TPRA membership.

  • To represent and voice our members’ collective concerns, influence change, and if warranted collaborate with neighbouring residents’ associations to strengthen our position.

  • To provide guidance and support to our members regarding municipal land use planning, development, environmental, traffic and safety issues and programs.

The TPRA encourages a sense of connection and inclusion in our neighbourhood and welcomes membership and volunteerism within our community.
